The discharging electrode needles are aligned at intervals of 50 mm to generate ions in high density. Without causing unevenness in static elimination, it supports the combined use of air and a variable frequency feature to ensure that its outstanding effect is exhibited over both short and long distances.

The product performs static elimination without fail from any item with a high static charge exceeding 20 kV such as film or in high-speed conveyance at a speed exceeding 200 m per minute. Even without the use of air, it performs static elimination when it is located at short distances.

The static elimination performance of ionizers deteriorates chiefly due to particles on the discharging electrode needles, which reduce the amount of ion production. This product supplies clean air to prevent the discharging electrode needles from being contaminated with particles, thereby keeping its static elimination effect stable for a long time.
The discharging electrode needle unit may be easily detached and reattached with a single operation. This design significantly reduces the man-hours required for the cleaning and replacement of discharging electrode needles.

The air jet nozzle around a discharging electrode needle was fully simulated to invent a new structure that prevents external air from getting close to the needle. It has paved the way for considerably suppressing the attachment of particles in the air to the discharging electrode needles. Not only in clean rooms but also in ordinary environments, the combined use of clean air successively reduces the risk of needle contamination and greatly prolongs the maintenance cycle.

The optimized discharging electrode needle unit has succeeded in maximizing the low air speed with a low air volume. This means that rapid static elimination may be achieved if the air pressure is set at a low level, and that the running cost may be reduced while the maintenance cycle may be prolonged considerably.

A separate controller has opened the way for smart installation.

The controller is no longer integrated into the main unit. It may therefore be placed where it may be easily checked by the operator. This facilitates the operator’s duties of checking the operation status and performing setting and maintenance work.

High level of safety and greater ease of maintenance


The discharging electrode needle embodies Kasuga Denki’s unique technology. Each needle is equipped with a high voltage resistor to produce ions using the resistive coupling method. It has such a high level of safety that if anyone touches a discharging electrode needle, he or she will hardly feel any electric shock. In addition, cutting-edge resin forming technology is applied to produce high voltage resistive elements and a printed circuit board in a single resin formed unit. It is designed to be so durable that its high voltage part is barely exposed to minimize the risk of leakages due to the adhesion of moisture or particles.

The cable connector of the static elimination electrode cable is equipped with a high voltage ion production lamp to improve safety in the maintenance of the static elimination electrode.

As the discharging electrode needle is integrated with the air jet nozzle into a single unit, it is easy to replace it with a single operation. This reduces the number of man-hours for the replacement of discharging electrode needles.

The product may be installed anywhere, as it is slim and lightweight.


While incorporating a high voltage generation unit in the static elimination electrode, it is so compact and lightweight that it is easy to install.

The accompanying attachment bracket enables two different installation methods. Customers can choose between them according to the installation position. The electrode attachment unit adopts the T-slot system used in commercially available aluminum frames and other products. This allows customers to procure an attachment bracket for attachment with the use of commercially available rectangular nuts or the equivalent.

The available effective static elimination widths range from 300 mm to 3,000 mm in steps of 100 mm. The extensive size availability makes it possible to offer the optimal size desired by customers.

A remote controller is offered as an option.

Even if the controller is installed in a location where it is difficult to operate it, the remote controller supports operation from a distant location. As it has a send and receive circuit embedded in it, it is possible to read the current setting status and make different settings. By assigning ID numbers, it may control a maximum of 16 ionizers.
