A corona surface treatment system applies a high-frequency high-voltage corona discharge to the surface of synthetic resin, paper, metal, etc. in order to improve them chemically and physically.
A material surface-modified by corona discharge has the following characteristics.

To determine the right match of power supply capacity, electrodes, and treatment rolls, perform calculations using the running speed, treatment in use, and treatment effects (such as wettability and bonding strength) based on the test data and past records.

Treatment station
A treatment station is used to apply corona discharge to treatment objects. This product, consisting of electrodes, treatment rolls, and roll rotation detector, is designed to offer a superior level of safety and utility.
Additionally, an electrode closing device and a gap adjuster are available as options.

Treatment rolls
The rolls over which the treated base material is run are designed for uniform and stable corona discharge. The rolls installed at a given distance from electrodes are either dielectric-lined or metal rolls, either of which should be selected to match the type of electrodes to be used.

The dielectric lining is made of ceramic, silicone rubber, EPT rubber, Hypalon rubber, etc.
